The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the night I was taken on the night journey, I saw Musa, and he was a tall, lean man, as though he were one of the men of Shanuah. I saw Isa, and he was a man of medium height, ruddy in complexion, as though he had just emerged from a bathhouse. I resemble him most among the descendants of Ibrahim ﷺ.Then I was brought two vessels, one containing milk and the other wine. It was said, 'Drink whichever you wish.' So I took the milk and drank it. It was then said, 'You have chosen the natural disposition. Had you taken the wine, your nation would have gone astray.'"
حدثنا إبراهيم بن موسى أخبرنا هشام بن يوسف أخبرنا معمر عن الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب
قال رسول الله ﷺ ليلة أسري بي رأيت موسى وإذا هو رجل ضرب رجل كأنه من رجال شنوءة ورأيت عيسى فإذا هو رجل ربعة أحمر كأنما خرج من ديماس وأنا أشبه ولد إبراهيم ﷺ به ثم أتيت بإناءين في أحدهما لبن وفي الآخر خمر فقال اشرب أيهما شئت فأخذت اللبن فشربته فقيل أخذت الفطرة أما إنك لو أخذت الخمر غوت أمتك
