Abdullah bin Umar reported,

He used to kill snakes, then he forbade it. He said, "The Prophet ﷺ demolished a wall of his and found in it the shed skin of a snake. He said, 'Look where it is.' They looked, and he said, 'Kill it.' So I used to kill them because of that."

كان يقتل الحيات ثم نهى قال إن النبي ﷺ هدم حائطا له فوجد فيه سلخ حية فقال انظروا أين هو فنظروا فقال اقتلوه فكنت أقتلها لذلك
