Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the most generous of people, and he was at his most generous during Ramadan when Jibreel would meet with him. Jibreel used to meet with him every night of Ramadan to review the Quran with him. When Jibreel met with him, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was more generous in doing good than the sweeping wind.Through Abdullah, Muamar narrated to us with this chain of transmission something similar.Abu Hurairah and Fatimah also reported from the Prophet ﷺ that Jibreel used to review the Quran with him.

حدثنا محمد بن مقاتل أخبرنا عبد الله أخبرنا يونس عن الزهري قال حدثني عبيد الله بن عبد الله

عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال

كان رسول الله ﷺ أجود الناس وكان أجود ما يكون في رمضان حين يلقاه جبريل وكان جبريل يلقاه في كل ليلة من رمضان فيدارسه القرآن فلرسول الله ﷺ حين يلقاه جبريل أجود بالخير من الريح المرسلة وعن عبد الله حدثنا معمر بهذا الإسناد نحوه وروى أبو هريرة وفاطمة رضي الله عنهما عن النبي ﷺ أن جبريل كان يعارضه القرآن
