Ayesha reported,

Whenever the Prophet ﷺ saw a cloud appearing in the sky that looked like it might bring rain, he would pace back and forth, going in and out, and his face would change. But when the rain fell, this would leave him. Ayesha noticed this about him, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "I do not know, perhaps it is as the people said, 'Then when they saw it as a cloud advancing toward their valleys'" [Ahqaf 46:24], and he recited the rest of the verse.
