Arwa disputed with him over a piece of land, claiming that he had taken part of it from her, and she brought the matter before Marwan.Saeed said, "Would I take anything from her rightful land? I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever takes a handspan of land unjustly will have it placed around his neck on the Day of Resurrection from seven earths.'"Ibn Abu Zinad reported from Hisham, from his father, who said that Saeed bin Zayd said to him, "I went in to see the Prophet ﷺ."
حدثني عبيد بن إسماعيل حدثنا أبو أسامة عن هشام عن أبيه
أنه خاصمته أروى في حق زعمت أنه انتقصه لها إلى مروان فقال سعيد أنا أنتقص من حقها شيئا أشهد لسمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول من أخذ شبرا من الأرض ظلما فإنه يطوقه يوم القيامة من سبع أرضين قال ابن أبي الزناد عن هشام عن أبيه قال قال لي سعيد بن زيد دخلت على النبي ﷺ
