Perhaps Allah let you witness the like of this alongside the Prophet ﷺ, and He gave you no cause for regret and brought you no disgrace. But I myself witnessed battle with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and whenever he did not fight in the early part of the day, he would wait until the breezes began to stir and the prayer times drew near.
ربما أشهدك الله مثلها مع النبي ﷺ فلم يندمك ولم يخزك ولكني شهدت القتال مع رسول الله ﷺ كان إذا لم يقاتل في أول النهار انتظر حتى تهب الأرواح وتحضر الصلوات
