She informed her that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was with her when she heard the voice of a man asking permission to enter Hafsah's house.She said, "Messenger of Allah, this is a man asking permission to enter your house."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "I think he is so-and-so," referring to Hafsah's paternal uncle through breastfeeding. "Breastfeeding makes unlawful what birth makes unlawful."

أخبرتها أن رسول الله ﷺ كان عندها وأنها سمعت صوت إنسان يستأذن في بيت حفصة فقلت يا رسول الله هذا رجل يستأذن في بيتك فقال رسول الله ﷺ أراه فلانا لعم حفصة من الرضاعة الرضاعة تحرم ما تحرم الولادة
