Abdullah bin Umar reported,

A horse of his went missing and was seized by the enemy. The Muslims later prevailed over them, and the horse was returned to him during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. A slave of his also fled and joined the Romans. When the Muslims prevailed over them, Khalid bin Walid returned the slave to him after the Prophet ﷺ had passed away.
