He informed him that he was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on one of his journeys. Abdullah said, "I think he said while the people were at their resting place." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent out a messenger announcing that no necklace of bowstring or any other necklace was to remain on the neck of any camel without being cut off.

أخبره أنه كان مع رسول الله ﷺ في بعض أسفاره قال عبد الله حسبت أنه قال والناس في مبيتهم فأرسل رسول الله ﷺ رسولا أن لا يبقين في رقبة بعير قلادة من وتر أو قلادة إلا قطعت
