Urwa bin Zubayr reported,

Usama bin Zayd was asked, while Yahya was speaking and I was listening but missed part of it, about the pace at which the Prophet ﷺ traveled during the Farewell Pilgrimage. He said that the Prophet ﷺ would travel at a moderate pace, and when he found open space he would move faster, the faster pace being above the moderate one.

سئل أسامة بن زيد رضي الله عنهما كان يحيى يقول وأنا أسمع فسقط عني عن مسير النبي ﷺ في حجة الوداع قال فكان يسير العنق فإذا وجد فجوة نص والنص فوق العنق
