The Prophet ﷺ called upon the people on the day of the Trench, and Zubayr volunteered. Then he called upon them again, and Zubayr volunteered. Then he called upon them once more, and Zubayr volunteered.The Prophet ﷺ said, "Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Zubayr."Sufyan explained that "disciple" means helper.
