He informed him that he went out with the Prophet ﷺ in the year of Khaybar, until when they reached as-Sahba, which is part of Khaybar and is the nearest part of Khaybar, they prayed the afternoon prayer. The Prophet ﷺ then called for food, but nothing was brought to him except parched barley meal. We moistened it and ate and drank. Then the Prophet ﷺ stood up, rinsed his mouth, and we rinsed ours, and we prayed.
حدثنا محمد بن المثنى حدثنا عبد الوهاب قال سمعت يحيى قال أخبرني بشير بن يسار أن
أخبره أنه خرج مع النبي ﷺ عام خيبر حتى إذا كانوا بالصهباء وهي من خيبر وهي أدنى خيبر فصلوا العصر فدعا النبي ﷺ بالأطعمة فلم يؤت النبي ﷺ إلا بسويق فلكنا فأكلنا وشربنا ثم قام النبي ﷺ فمضمض ومضمضنا وصلينا
