Anas bin Malik reported,

The people were struck with alarm, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mounted a slow horse belonging to Abu Talha and rode off alone at a gallop. The people then mounted their horses and galloped after him. He said, "Do not be alarmed. He is indeed a sea." After that day, that horse was never outrun.
