We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when five nights of Dhul-Qadah remained, intending nothing but Hajj. When we drew near Mecca, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered anyone who had not brought a sacrificial animal with him, once he had circled the House and walked between Safa and Marwa, to come out of ihram.Ayesha said, "On the Day of Sacrifice, beef was brought in to us, and I asked, 'What is this?'"The reply came, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ has sacrificed on behalf of his wives."Yahya said, "I mentioned this hadith to Qasim bin Muhammad, and he said, 'By Allah, she has conveyed the hadith to you exactly as it was.'"
حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة عن مالك عن يحيى بن سعيد عن عمرة بنت عبد الرحمن أنها سمعت
خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ لخمس ليال بقين من ذي القعدة ولا نرى إلا الحج فلما دنونا من مكة أمر رسول الله ﷺ من لم يكن معه هدي إذا طاف بالبيت وسعى بين الصفا والمروة أن يحل قالت عائشة فدخل علينا يوم النحر بلحم بقر فقلت ما هذا فقال نحر رسول الله ﷺ عن أزواجه قال يحيى فذكرت هذا الحديث للقاسم بن محمد فقال أتتك والله بالحديث على وجهه
