Mughira bin Shuba reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went off to relieve himself and then returned. I met him with water so he could perform ablution. He was wearing a Syrian cloak. He rinsed his mouth, sniffed water into his nose, and washed his face. Then he tried to take his arms out through the sleeves, but they were too narrow, so he drew them out from underneath and washed them. He wiped over his head and over his leather socks.
