Umm Haram told me that the Prophet ﷺ once took a nap in her house, then woke up smiling.She asked, "What makes you smile, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "I marveled at people of my nation who will sail the sea like kings upon thrones."I said, "Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah to make me one of them."He said, "You are among them."Then he slept again and woke up smiling, saying the same thing. This happened two or three times.Each time I would say, "Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah to make me one of them," and he would reply, "You are among the first."Ubada bin Samit then married her, and he took her with him on a military expedition. When she returned, a riding animal was brought close for her to mount, but she fell off it and broke her neck.

حدثتني أم حرام أن النبي ﷺ قال يوما في بيتها فاستيقظ وهو يضحك قالت يا رسول الله ما يضحكك قال عجبت من قوم من أمتي يركبون البحر كالملوك على الأسرة فقلت يا رسول الله ادع الله أن يجعلني منهم فقال أنت منهم ثم نام فاستيقظ وهو يضحك فقال مثل ذلك مرتين أو ثلاثا قلت يا رسول الله ادع الله أن يجعلني منهم فيقول أنت من الأولين فتزوج بها عبادة بن الصامت فخرج بها إلى الغزو فلما رجعت قربت دابة لتركبها فوقعت فاندقت عنقها
