The Prophet ﷺ slept one day near me, then woke up smiling.I asked, "What has made you laugh?"He said, "Some people of my nation were shown to me riding upon this green sea like kings upon thrones."She said, "Pray to Allah to make me one of them."So he prayed for her, then he slept a second time and did the same. She said as she had said before, and he answered her as he had answered before. She said, "Pray to Allah to make me one of them."He said, "You are among the first."She set out with her husband Ubada bin Samit as a fighter, in the very first expedition the Muslims undertook by sea, alongside Muawiya. When they returned from their campaign and landed in Sham, a riding animal was brought close for her to mount, but it threw her off and she died.
حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف قال حدثني الليث حدثنا يحيى عن محمد بن يحيى بن حبان عن أنس بن مالك
نام النبي ﷺ يوما قريبا مني ثم استيقظ يتبسم فقلت ما أضحكك قال أناس من أمتي عرضوا علي يركبون هذا البحر الأخضر كالملوك على الأسرة قالت فادع الله أن يجعلني منهم فدعا لها ثم نام الثانية ففعل مثلها فقالت مثل قولها فأجابها مثلها فقالت ادع الله أن يجعلني منهم فقال أنت من الأولين فخرجت مع زوجها عبادة بن الصامت غازيا أول ما ركب المسلمون البحر مع معاوية فلما انصرفوا من غزوهم قافلين فنزلوا الشأم فقربت إليها دابة لتركبها فصرعتها فماتت
