I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The one who strives in the path of Allah, and Allah knows best who truly strives in His path, is like the one who fasts continually and stands in prayer through the night. Allah has guaranteed for the one who strives in His path that if He takes his soul, He will admit him to Paradise, or return him safely with reward or spoils of war."
حدثنا أبو اليمان أخبرنا شعيب عن الزهري قال أخبرني سعيد بن المسيب أن
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول مثل المجاهد في سبيل الله والله أعلم بمن يجاهد في سبيله كمثل الصائم القائم وتوكل الله للمجاهد في سبيله بأن يتوفاه أن يدخله الجنة أو يرجعه سالما مع أجر أو غنيمة
