Aswad reported,

It was mentioned in Ayesha's presence that Ali had been appointed as the executor of the Prophet's will. She said, "When did he make a will to him? I was holding him propped up against my chest," or she said, "in my lap. He called for a basin, then he slumped over in my lap, and I did not even realize he had died. So when did he ever make a will to him?"

عن الأسود قال

ذكروا عند عائشة أن عليا رضي الله عنهما كان وصيا فقالت متى أوصى إليه وقد كنت مسندته إلى صدري أو قالت حجري فدعا بالطست فلقد انخنث في حجري فما شعرت أنه قد مات فمتى أوصى إليه
