I asked Ayesha and mentioned to her Ibn Umar's statement, "I would not wish to wake up in a state of ihram with perfume oozing from me."Ayesha replied, "I myself perfumed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then he went around to his wives, then he woke up in the morning in a state of ihram."

سألت عائشة فذكرت لها قول ابن عمر ما أحب أن أصبح محرما أنضخ طيبا فقالت عائشة أنا طيبت رسول الله ﷺ ثم طاف في نسائه ثم أصبح محرما
