The Prophet ﷺ heard a man reciting in the mosque, so he said, "May Allah have mercy on him. He has reminded me of such-and-such verses that I had dropped from such-and-such surah."Abbad bin Abdullah added, narrating from Ayesha, that the Prophet ﷺ was performing the night prayer in my house when he heard the voice of Abbad praying in the mosque. He asked, "Ayesha, is that the voice of Abbad?"I replied, "Yes."He said, "O Allah, have mercy on Abbad."
حدثنا محمد بن عبيد بن ميمون أخبرنا عيسى بن يونس عن هشام عن أبيه
سمع النبي ﷺ رجلا يقرأ في المسجد فقال رحمه الله لقد أذكرني كذا وكذا آية أسقطتهن من سورة كذا وكذا وزاد عباد بن عبد الله عن عائشة تهجد النبي ﷺ في بيتي فسمع صوت عباد يصلي في المسجد فقال يا عائشة أصوت عباد هذا قلت نعم قال اللهم ارحم عبادا
