Some men among us had surplus land, so they said, "Let us rent it out for a third, a quarter, or a half of the produce."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever has land should cultivate it himself or give it to his brother to use. If he refuses, let him keep his land."
حدثنا محمد بن يوسف حدثنا الأوزاعي قال حدثني عطاء
كانت لرجال منا فضول أرضين فقالوا نؤاجرها بالثلث والربع والنصف فقال النبي ﷺ من كانت له أرض فليزرعها أو ليمنحها أخاه فإن أبى فليمسك أرضه
