Abdul-Wahid bin Ayman reported,

I came upon Ayesha wearing a Qatari shift worth five dirhams. She said, "Lift your gaze to my slave-girl and look at her. She refuses out of pride to wear it in the house. I had one like it during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and there was not a woman in Medina being adorned as a bride except that she would send to me asking to borrow it."

عبد الواحد بن أيمن قال حدثني أبي قال

دخلت على عائشة رضي الله عنها وعليها درع قطر ثمن خمسة دراهم فقالت ارفع بصرك إلى جاريتي انظر إليها فإنها تزهى أن تلبسه في البيت وقد كان لي منهن درع على عهد رسول الله ﷺ فما كانت امرأة تقين بالمدينة إلا أرسلت إلي تستعيره
