I saw Abu Dharr al-Ghifari wearing a fine garment and his servant wearing one just like it. We asked him about this, and he explained, "I once insulted a man, and he complained about me to the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ asked me, 'Did you insult him by reviling his mother?' Then he said, 'Your brothers are your servants whom Allah has placed under your authority. Whoever has his brother under his authority should feed him from what he himself eats and clothe him from what he himself wears. Do not burden them with tasks beyond their capacity, and if you do assign them such tasks, then help them with the work.'"
