Abdullah bin Umar reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever frees his share in a jointly owned slave is obliged to free the slave entirely, if he has wealth equal to the slave's value. The slave shall be valued at a fair price, his partners shall be given their shares, and the freed slave shall be released."
