The Prophet ﷺ saw fires being lit on the day of Khaybar and asked, "What are these fires being lit for?"They answered, "For domesticated donkeys."He said, "Break them and pour out their contents."They asked, "Should we not just pour out the contents and wash them?"He said, "Then wash them."Abu Abdullah said, Ibn Abu Uways used to pronounce al-humur al-ansiyyah with a fathah on the alif and the nun.

أن النبي ﷺ رأى نيرانا توقد يوم خيبر قال على ما توقد هذه النيران قالوا على الحمر الإنسية قال اكسروها وأهرقوها قالوا ألا نهريقها ونغسلها قال اغسلوا قال أبو عبد الله كان ابن أبي أويس يقول الحمر الأنسية بنصب الألف والنون
