Abu Salama reported,

He related that there was a dispute between him and some people, and he mentioned it to Ayesha . She said, "Abu Salama, stay away from taking land unjustly, for the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever wrongfully takes even a hand-span of land will have it placed around his neck from the seven earths.'"

حدثه أنه كانت بينه وبين أناس خصومة فذكر لعائشة رضي الله عنها فقالت يا أبا سلمة اجتنب الأرض فإن النبي ﷺ قال من ظلم قيد شبر من الأرض طوقه من سبع أرضين
