A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ demanding repayment of a debt and spoke harshly to him. His companions were about to deal with the man, but he said, "Leave him, for the one with a rightful claim is entitled to speak."Then he said, "Buy him a camel and give it to him."They said, "We can only find one better than his."He said, "Buy it and give it to him, for the best of you is the one who repays his debts most generously."
حدثنا أبو الوليد حدثنا شعبة أخبرنا سلمة بن كهيل قال سمعت أبا سلمة بمنى يحدث
رجلا تقاضى رسول الله ﷺ فأغلظ له فهم به أصحابه فقال دعوه فإن لصاحب الحق مقالا واشتروا له بعيرا فأعطوه إياه وقالوا لا نجد إلا أفضل من سنه قال اشتروه فأعطوه إياه فإن خيركم أحسنكم قضاء
