Amash reported,

We were discussing the matter of pledging collateral in a salam transaction in the presence of Ibrahim, and he said, Aswad narrated to me from Ayesha رضي الله عنها that the Prophet ﷺ bought some food from a Jew on credit and pledged an iron shield as collateral.
