The Prophet ﷺ said, "May Allah have mercy on the mother of Ismail. Had she left Zamzam alone," or he said, "had she not scooped up the water, it would have been a flowing spring."Then the tribe of Jurhum came and asked, "Will you permit us to settle near you?"She replied, "Yes, but you have no right to the water."They said, "Agreed."
حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد أخبرنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن أيوب وكثير بن كثير يزيد أحدهما على الآخر عن سعيد بن جبير قال قال
النبي ﷺ يرحم الله أم إسماعيل لو تركت زمزم أو قال لو لم تغرف من الماء لكانت عينا معينا وأقبل جرهم فقالوا أتأذنين أن ننزل عندك قالت نعم ولا حق لكم في الماء قالوا نعم
