Amr reported,

Regarding the endowment of Umar , there is no blame upon the trustee if he eats from it and feeds a friend, so long as he does not accumulate wealth from it for himself. Ibn Umar was the one who managed Umar's endowment, and he used to send gifts from it to certain people in Mecca with whom he would stay.

في صدقة عمر رضي الله عنه ليس على الولي جناح أن يأكل ويؤكل صديقا له غير متأثل مالا فكان ابن عمر هو يلي صدقة عمر يهدي لناس من أهل مكة كان ينزل عليهم
