The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted the Jews of Khaybar the right to work and cultivate the land, with half of its produce belonging to them. Ibn Umar narrated that the farms used to be leased on certain terms which Nafi mentioned, but I do not remember them.

أعطى رسول الله ﷺ خيبر اليهود أن يعملوها ويزرعوها ولهم شطر ما يخرج منها وأن ابن عمر حدثه أن المزارع كانت تكرى على شيء سماه نافع لا أحفظه
