I came to the Prophet ﷺ accompanied by two men from the Ashari tribe. I said, "I did not realize that they were seeking a position." He replied, "We will not, or we do not, appoint to our service anyone who seeks it."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا يحيى عن قرة بن خالد قال حدثني حميد بن هلال حدثنا أبو بردة
أقبلت إلى النبي ﷺ ومعي رجلان من الأشعريين فقلت ما عملت أنهما يطلبان العمل فقال لن أو لا نستعمل على عملنا من أراده
