Abu Bakhtari reported,

I asked Ibn Abbas about advance payment for dates on the palm tree.He said, "The Prophet ﷺ forbade selling dates on the palm tree until they are fit to be eaten and until they can be weighed."The man asked, "What is there to weigh?"A man beside him said, "Until they can be estimated."Muaz reported to us from Shuba, from Amr, that Abu Bakhtari said, "I heard Ibn Abbas say that the Prophet ﷺ forbade it," with a similar narration.

حدثنا آدم حدثنا شعبة أخبرنا عمرو قال سمعت

أبا البختري الطائي قال

سألت ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما عن السلم في النخل قال نهى النبي ﷺ عن بيع النخل حتى يوكل منه وحتى يوزن فقال الرجل وأي شيء يوزن قال رجل إلى جانبه حتى يحرز وقال معاذ حدثنا شعبة عن عمرو قال أبو البختري سمعت ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما نهى النبي ﷺ مثله
