The Prophet ﷺ said, "The two parties to a sale each retain the right to cancel the transaction as long as they have not parted, unless the sale was made with an option clause."Nafi said, "Whenever Ibn Umar bought something that pleased him, he would part from his companion to make the sale binding."
حدثنا صدقة أخبرنا عبد الوهاب قال سمعت يحيى بن سعيد قال سمعت نافعا
عن النبي ﷺ قال إن المتبايعين بالخيار في بيعهما ما لم يتفرقا أو يكون البيع خيارا قال نافع وكان ابن عمر إذا اشترى شيئا يعجبه فارق صاحبه
