The Prophet ﷺ said, "The angels received the soul of a man from among those who came before you. They asked him, 'Did you do any good deed?' He replied, 'I used to instruct my servants to grant respite to the well-off and to overlook his debt.'" The Prophet ﷺ said, "So they pardoned him."Abu Abdullah said, Abu Malik narrated from Rubai with the wording, "I used to make things easy for the well-off and grant respite to the one in difficulty." Shuba followed him in this, narrating from Abdul-Malik from Rubai.Abu Awana narrated from Abdul-Malik from Rubai with the wording, "I used to grant respite to the well-off and overlook the debt of the one in difficulty."Naeem bin Abu Hind narrated from Rubai with the wording, "I used to accept payment from the well-off and overlook the debt of the one in difficulty."
حدثنا أحمد بن يونس حدثنا زهير حدثنا منصور أن ربعي بن حراش حدثه أن
قال النبي ﷺ تلقت الملائكة روح رجل ممن كان قبلكم قالوا أعملت من الخير شيئا قال كنت آمر فتياني أن ينظروا ويتجاوزوا عن الموسر قال قال فتجاوزوا عنه قال أبو عبد الله وقال أبو مالك عن ربعي كنت أيسر على الموسر وأنظر المعسر وتابعه شعبة عن عبد الملك عن ربعي وقال أبو عوانة عن عبد الملك عن ربعي أنظر الموسر وأتجاوز عن المعسر وقال نعيم بن أبي هند عن ربعي فأقبل من الموسر وأتجاوز عن المعسر
