Ali bin Husayn reported,

reported that Safiya bint Huyayy, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, informed him.Abdullah bin Muhammad narrated to us, Hisham bin Yusuf narrated to us, Muamar reported to us from Zuhri from Ali bin Husayn that the Prophet ﷺ was in the mosque with his wives present. When they departed, he said to Safiya bint Huyayy, "Do not hurry off, wait until I leave with you."Her residence was in the house of Usama, so the Prophet ﷺ went out with her. Two men from the Ansar passed by, and when they saw the Prophet ﷺ, they continued on their way.The Prophet ﷺ called to them, "Come here. This is Safiya bint Huyayy."They exclaimed, "Glory be to Allah, Messenger of Allah!"He said, "Satan flows through the human being like the flow of blood, and I feared that he might cast something into your hearts."

رضي الله عنهما أن صفية زوج النبي ﷺ أخبرته ح حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد حدثنا هشام بن يوسف أخبرنا معمر عن الزهري عن علي بن الحسين كان النبي ﷺ في المسجد وعنده أزواجه فرحن فقال لصفية بنت حيي لا تعجلي حتى أنصرف معك وكان بيتها في دار أسامة فخرج النبي ﷺ معها فلقيه رجلان من الأنصار فنظرا إلى النبي ﷺ ثم أجازا وقال لهما النبي ﷺ تعاليا إنها صفية بنت حيي قالا سبحان الله يا رسول الله قال إن الشيطان يجري من الإنسان مجرى الدم وإني خشيت أن يلقي في أنفسكما شيئا
