It was reported from the Prophet ﷺ that he wiped over his leather socks. Abdullah bin Umar asked Umar about this, and Umar replied, "Yes. If Saad reports something to you from the Prophet ﷺ, do not ask anyone else about it."Musa bin Uqba said, Abu Nadr informed me that Abu Salama told him that Saad related this to him, and Umar said to Abdullah something similar.
حدثنا أصبغ بن الفرج المصري عن ابن وهب قال حدثني عمرو بن الحارث حدثني أبو النضر عن أبي سلمة بن عبد الرحمن عن عبد الله بن عمر
عن النبي ﷺ أنه مسح على الخفين وأن عبد الله بن عمر سأل عمر عن ذلك فقال نعم إذا حدثك شيئا سعد عن النبي ﷺ فلا تسأل عنه غيره وقال موسى بن عقبة أخبرني أبو النضر أن أبا سلمة أخبره أن سعدا حدثه فقال عمر لعبد الله نحوه
