He said, my uncle used to perform ablution frequently. He said to Abdullah bin Zayd, "Tell me how you saw the Prophet ﷺ perform ablution."So he called for a vessel of water and poured it over his hands, washing them three times. Then he put his hand into the vessel and rinsed his mouth and nose three times from a single scoop. Then he put his hand in and scooped out water, washing his face three times. Then he washed his arms up to the elbows twice each. Then he took water in his hand and wiped his head, moving his hands back and then forward. Then he washed his feet.He said, "This is how I saw the Prophet ﷺ perform ablution."
حدثنا خالد بن مخلد قال حدثنا سليمان بن بلال قال حدثني
قال كان عمي يكثر من الوضوء قال لعبد الله بن زيد أخبرنيا كيف رأيت النبي ﷺ يتوضأ فدعا بتور من ماء فكفأ على يديه فغسلهما ثلاث مرار ثم أدخل يده في التور فمضمض واستنثر ثلاث مرات من غرفة واحدة ثم أدخل يده فاغترف بها فغسل وجهه ثلاث مرات ثم غسل يديه إلى المرفقين مرتين مرتين ثم أخذ بيده ماء فمسح رأسه فأدبر به وأقبل ثم غسل رجليه فقال هكذا رأيت النبي ﷺ يتوضأ
