The Messenger of Allah ﷺ set out for Mecca during Ramadan and continued fasting until he reached al-Kadid, where he broke his fast, and the people broke theirs as well.Abu Abdullah said, "Al-Kadid is a watering place between Usfan and Qudayd."

أن رسول الله ﷺ خرج إلى مكة في رمضان فصام حتى بلغ الكديد أفطر فأفطر الناس قال أبو عبد الله والكديد ماء بين عسفان وقديد
