The Prophet ﷺ continued his fast through the night, and the people did the same. It became difficult for them, so he forbade them from doing it.They said, "But you continue your fast through the night."He replied, "I am not like you. I spend the night being fed and given drink."

أن النبي ﷺ واصل فواصل الناس فشق عليهم فنهاهم قالوا إنك تواصل قال لست كهيئتكم إني أظل أطعم وأسقى
