The Prophet ﷺ swore to stay away from his wives for a month. When twenty-nine days had passed, he came to them in the morning or evening. It was said to him, "You swore not to enter upon them for a month."He replied, "A month can be twenty-nine days."
حدثنا أبو عاصم عن ابن جريج عن يحيى بن عبد الله بن صيفي عن عكرمة بن عبد الرحمن
أن النبي ﷺ آلى من نسائه شهرا فلما مضى تسعة وعشرون يوما غدا أو راح فقيل له إنك حلفت أن لا تدخل شهرا فقال إن الشهر يكون تسعة وعشرين يوما
