The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered Mecca in the year of the Conquest wearing a helmet on his head. When he took it off, a man came and said, "Ibn Khatal is clinging to the covers of the Kaabah."He said, "Kill him."
حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف أخبرنا مالك عن ابن شهاب
أن رسول الله ﷺ دخل عام الفتح وعلى رأسه المغفر فلما نزعه جاء رجل فقال إن ابن خطل متعلق بأستار الكعبة فقال اقتلوه
