We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ thinking only of Hajj. When we arrived, he ordered us to release ourselves from ihram. On the night of departure, Safiya bint Huyayy began her menstrual period.The Prophet ﷺ said, "May she be shorn and wounded! I think she will detain you all."Then he asked, "Did you perform the tawaf on the Day of Sacrifice?"She replied, "Yes."He said, "Then depart."I said, "Messenger of Allah, I had not released myself from ihram."He said, "Then perform umrah from Tanim."So her brother went out with her, and we met him traveling in the late part of the night. He said, "Your appointed meeting place is such-and-such a spot."
قال أبو عبد الله وزادني محمد حدثنا محاضر حدثنا الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن الأسود
خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ لا نذكر إلا الحج فلما قدمنا أمرنا أن نحل فلما كانت ليلة النفر حاضت صفية بنت حيي فقال النبي ﷺ حلقى عقرى ما أراها إلا حابستكم ثم قال كنت طفت يوم النحر قالت نعم قال فانفري قلت يا رسول الله إني لم أكن حللت قال فاعتمري من التنعيم فخرج معها أخوها فلقيناه مدلجا فقال موعدك مكان كذا وكذا
