We set out with the Prophet ﷺ intending nothing but Hajj. When the Prophet ﷺ arrived, he performed tawaf around the House and walked between Safa and Marwa, but he did not exit the state of ihram because he had brought along sacrificial animals. Those of his wives and companions who were with him performed tawaf as well, and those who had not brought sacrificial animals exited their ihram.She then began her menstrual period, and we completed all the rites of our Hajj. On the night of Hasbah, the night of departure, she said, "Messenger of Allah, all your companions are returning with both a Hajj and an Umrah except me."He asked, "Did you not perform tawaf around the House during the nights when we first arrived?"I said, "No."He said, "Then go out with your brother to Tanim and enter the state of ihram for an Umrah. Your meeting place will be at such-and-such location."So I went out with Abdul-Rahman to Tanim and entered ihram for an Umrah.Safiya bint Huyayy then began her menstrual period, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "May she be wounded and shorn! She is going to detain us. Did you not perform tawaf on the day of sacrifice?"She replied, "Yes, I did."He said, "Then there is no harm. Depart."I met him as he was ascending toward the people of Makkah while I was descending, or I was ascending and he was descending.Musaddad said, "I said, 'No.'"Jareer corroborated this from Mansur regarding his statement "No."

خرجنا مع النبي ﷺ ولا نرى إلا الحج فقدم النبي ﷺ فطاف بالبيت وبين الصفا والمروة ولم يحل وكان معه الهدي فطاف من كان معه من نسائه وأصحابه وحل منهم من لم يكن معه الهدي فحاضت هي فنسكنا مناسكنا من حجنا فلما كان ليلة الحصبة ليلة النفر قالت يا رسول الله كل أصحابك يرجع بحج وعمرة غيري قال ما كنت تطوفين بالبيت ليالي قدمنا قلت لا قال فاخرجي مع أخيك إلى التنعيم فأهلي بعمرة وموعدك مكان كذا وكذا فخرجت مع عبد الرحمن إلى التنعيم فأهللت بعمرة وحاضت صفية بنت حيي فقال النبي ﷺ عقرى حلقى إنك لحابستنا أما كنت طفت يوم النحر قالت بلى قال فلا بأس انفري فلقيته مصعدا على أهل مكة وأنا منهبطة أو أنا مصعدة وهو منهبط وقال مسدد قلت لا تابعه جرير عن منصور في قوله لا
