He related that he witnessed the Prophet ﷺ delivering a sermon on the Day of Sacrifice. A man stood up and said, "I thought such-and-such came before such-and-such."Then another stood and said, "I thought such-and-such came before such-and-such. I shaved before I sacrificed," or, "I sacrificed before I stoned," and similar matters.The Prophet ﷺ said regarding all of them, "Do it, and there is no harm." He was not asked about anything that day except that he said, "Do it, and there is no harm."
حدثنا سعيد بن يحيى بن سعيد حدثنا أبي حدثنا ابن جريج حدثني الزهري عن عيسى بن طلحة أن
حدثه أنه شهد النبي ﷺ يخطب يوم النحر فقام إليه رجل فقال كنت أحسب أن كذا قبل كذا ثم قام آخر فقال كنت أحسب أن كذا قبل كذا حلقت قبل أن أنحر نحرت قبل أن أرمي وأشباه ذلك فقال النبي ﷺ افعل ولا حرج لهن كلهن فما سئل يومئذ عن شيء إلا قال افعل ولا حرج
