Ayesha reported,

We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when five nights remained of Dhul-Qadah, and we thought only of performing Hajj. As we drew near Makkah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered that whoever had not brought a sacrificial animal with him should, after circumambulating the House, exit the state of ihram.Ayesha said, "On the Day of Sacrifice, beef was brought in to us. I asked, 'What is this?' Someone answered, 'The Prophet ﷺ has slaughtered on behalf of his wives.'"Yahya said, I mentioned this hadith to al-Qasim, and he said, "She has brought you the hadith exactly as it occurred."

حدثنا خالد بن مخلد حدثنا سليمان بن بلال قال حدثني يحيى قال حدثتني عمرة قالت سمعت

عائشة رضي الله عنها تقول

خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ لخمس بقين من ذي القعدة ولا نرى إلا الحج حتى إذا دنونا من مكة أمر رسول الله ﷺ من لم يكن معه هدي إذا طاف بالبيت ثم يحل قالت عائشة رضي الله عنها فدخل علينا يوم النحر بلحم بقر فقلت ما هذا فقيل ذبح النبي ﷺ عن أزواجه قال يحيى فذكرت هذا الحديث للقاسم فقال أتتك بالحديث على وجهه
