We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when five nights remained of Dhu al-Qadah, intending nothing but Hajj. When we drew near to Mecca, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded that whoever did not have a sacrificial animal with him should exit the state of ihram after performing tawaf and saying between Safa and Marwa.She said, On the Day of Sacrifice, beef was brought in to us. I asked, "What is this?"He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sacrificed on behalf of his wives."Yahya said, I mentioned this to al-Qasim, and he said, "She has brought you the hadith exactly as it occurred."
حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف أخبرنا مالك عن يحيى بن سعيد عن عمرة بنت عبد الرحمن قالت سمعت
خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ لخمس بقين من ذي القعدة لا نرى إلا الحج فلما دنونا من مكة أمر رسول الله ﷺ من لم يكن معه هدي إذا طاف وسعى بين الصفا والمروة أن يحل قالت فدخل علينا يوم النحر بلحم بقر فقلت ما هذا قال نحر رسول الله ﷺ عن أزواجه قال يحيى فذكرته للقاسم فقال أتتك بالحديث على وجهه
