"Stay here, for I fear you will be barred from the House."He replied, "Then I will do just as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did. Allah has said, 'You have in the Messenger of Allah an excellent example' [Ahzab 33:21]. So I call you to witness that I have made Umrah binding upon myself."He then entered the state of consecration for Umrah from his house. He set out, and when he reached Bayda he entered the state of consecration for both Hajj and Umrah, saying, "The matter of Hajj and Umrah is one and the same."Then he bought the sacrificial animal at Qudayd. When he arrived he performed a single circuit for both of them, and he did not leave the state of consecration until he left it for both together.
حدثنا أبو النعمان حدثنا حماد عن أيوب عن نافع قال قال
أقم فإني لا آمنها أن ستصد عن البيت قال إذا أفعل كما فعل رسول الله ﷺ وقد قال الله {لقد كان لكم في رسول الله أسوة حسنة} فأنا أشهدكم أني قد أوجبت على نفسي العمرة فأهل بالعمرة من الدار قال ثم خرج حتى إذا كان بالبيداء أهل بالحج والعمرة وقال ما شأن الحج والعمرة إلا واحد ثم اشترى الهدي من قديد ثم قدم فطاف لهما طوافا واحدا فلم يحل حتى حل منهما جميعا
