Amr reported,

We asked Ibn Umar , "May a man be intimate with his wife during umrah before performing the sai between Safa and Marwa?"He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived and circumambulated the House seven times, then prayed two rakahs behind the Maqam, then walked between Safa and Marwa. And Allah has said, 'Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example' [Ahzab 33:21]."

سألنا ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما أيقع الرجل على امرأته في العمرة قبل أن يطوف بين الصفا والمروة قال قدم رسول الله ﷺ فطاف بالبيت سبعا ثم صلى خلف المقام ركعتين وطاف بين الصفا والمروة وقال {لقد كان لكم في رسول الله إسوة حسنة}
